Fruity French toast

  1. 1 In a bowl, beat the eggs with the cream, then dip in the bread to coat. Set aside for 10 minutes.
  2. 2 Heat the butter in a frying pan, then cook the bread for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden.
  3. 3 To serve, arrange the slices of French toast on 2 plates.
  4. 4 Dust each with a sprinkling of caster sugar, drizzle over 1 tbsp honey, top with a dollop of yogurt and scatter over the berries.

    Made this weekend, easy so tasty! I did mix honey into the egg mix of the second batch which i preferred! Beyond delicious!!

    Used brioche loaf which I quickly fried in a griddle pan in a butter/caster sugar mix until it caramelised a bit. Brioche is much lighter and a bit sweeter
