Method
- 1 Mix the flour, eggs and milk with a pinch of salt and pepper and set aside for 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 220°C/200°C fan/gas mark 7.
- 2 Untwist the links between each sausage, keeping them connected. Coil the sausages tightly to make a spiral and secure with wooden skewers. Put in an ovenproof skillet with the oil, then brown in the oven for 12-15 minutes.
- 3 Remove the pan from the oven and carefully take out the sausages. Remove the wooden skewers and discard.
- 4 Pour the batter into the pan, then put the sausage spiral on top and scatter with the herbs. Return to the oven and cook for 25-30 minutes, without opening the oven.
