SAUTEED SPROUTS WITH BACON

Preparation

Zest the lemons. Chop the streaky bacon.

Method

  1. 1 Boil the sprouts for 3-4 minutes until just tender; drain and leave to cool.
  2. 2 Halve any large sprouts.
  3. 3 Heat the olive oil in a frying pan, add the bacon and fry for 2-3 minutes.
  4. 4 Add the sprouts and lemon zest, then cook, stirring, until nicely coloured.
