Zest the lemons. Chop the streaky bacon.
- 1 Boil the sprouts for 3-4 minutes until just tender; drain and leave to cool.
- 2 Halve any large sprouts.
- 3 Heat the olive oil in a frying pan, add the bacon and fry for 2-3 minutes.
- 4 Add the sprouts and lemon zest, then cook, stirring, until nicely coloured.
This is very simple and delicious. It will convert even the most adamant sprout haters.
